Based in northeastern Pennsylvania, Jamie Strong is a master knitter. She leads knitting classes for beginning, intermediate, and master knitters.
The recipient of numerous blue ribbons for her work, Jamie has taught for the Continuing Education center of Marywood University. She has led an annual knitting and faith retreat at St. Gabriel’s Retreat Center, Clarks Summit, PA.
Jamie regularly undertakes contract assignments for knitting magazines and books. Feel free to contact her for that special project that needs an expert touch!
In her spare time, she works full-time at Marywood University and plays the organ at the First United Presbyterian Church of the Lackawanna Valley.
Jamie is married to Bill Carter, a Presbyterian minister, and their house is the home of four children: Joshua, Lauren, Katie, and Meg.
